A great way to bond with your baby! This class is designed to help new moms regain strength and vitality, while incorporating baby in the process. Also, provides opportunity to build relationships with other new parents.

Quoi faire avant le cours:
What to do prior to class: If you are just returning to any form of exercise after giving birth, please speak with your physician or midwife before attending class. It's also very important to allow the body to rest after delivery so please wait until you are at least 8 weeks postpartum before beginning. Every woman and every pregnancy is different, so please let the instructor know if your caregiver gave you special instructions as to positions or movements to avoid.
Quoi apporter: S'il vous plaît apporter un tapis de yoga, un sac à couches, et une bouteille d'eau pour vous-même. Si vous avez un porte-bébé, vous êtes invités à l'apporter pour certaines des postures debouts. What to bring: Please bring with you a yoga mat, a diaper bag in case of a change, and a water bottle for yourself. If you are comfortable with babywearing you are welcome to bring your carrier for some of the standing posesYou are welcome to bring snacks as well in a spill-resistant container--no nuts please. We will have communal toys for sharing so it's probably easier to leave special doudous at home.

What makes parent and baby unique: There is no such thing as a typical yoga class, as styles can vary quite significantly. However, parent and tot yoga classes are a breed apart. How often do you get to sing while holidng a pose? Probably never. These classes are full of joy, life, spontaneity, laughter, and, truth be told, a few tears and a bit of chaos.

About your instructor: Please see Kimberlee's bio for more information about her teaching background. In addition to standard yoga teacher training, Kimberlee has been formally trained in teaching pre and post natal yoga and kids yoga. She is the mother to two children, including a baby girl who will accompany her as a special assistant.
